Snaplii - App UI/UX Design & Visual Design
Problem / Challenge
The Snaplii app was undergoing an iterative upgrade while still needing to operate and engage users. The challenge was to redesign the UI in collaboration with a UX designer, contribute to UX improvements, and simultaneously produce all operational visual assets to support ongoing campaigns.
Research & Insights
Working closely with the UX designer, I reviewed user flows, pain points, and existing design inconsistencies. We analyzed user feedback and product goals to determine UI adjustments that would improve usability while staying true to brand identity.
Ideation
Explored ways to enhance visual hierarchy, modernize component styling, and unify the look and feel across screens. For operational assets, I proposed design directions that would keep the visual language consistent with the evolving app UI.
Design & Prototyping
Created high-fidelity UI designs for the iterative update using Figma, aligning with UX wireframes and interaction patterns. Designed and delivered banners, splash screens, and promotional visuals for all operational campaigns during the upgrade period, ensuring a seamless integration with the app’s updated style.
Collaboration & Handoff
Maintained active communication with the UX designer and development team to ensure smooth handoff and accurate implementation. Provided design specifications, asset exports, and interaction notes to guide development.
Outcome / Impact
The iterative UI update improved visual clarity and user experience while keeping the brand cohesive. Operational visuals kept the app visually engaging during the transition, supporting user retention and campaign performance without interrupting service.
