iCare Home Comfort - UI Design

Problem / Challenge
The client provided references from two to three competing websites and requested a refined, visually appealing interface that conveyed trust and warmth—aligned with their home comfort and care branding. The task was to elevate the UI while incorporating some UX improvements, and ensure a smooth handoff to the development team.

Research & Insights
By evaluating the reference websites, I identified opportunities to enhance clarity, streamline navigation, and integrate a softer, approachable style—fitting for home comfort branding. I also discussed with stakeholders what features and content would best serve their users’ expectations.

Ideation
I sketched variations of layouts that prioritized user-friendly navigation and clarity, with a warm color palette and intuitive structure. Early ideas included cleaner call-to-action buttons, more informative layout blocks, and cohesive visual flow to guide user attention.

Design & Prototyping
Using Figma, I created high-fidelity UI designs and delivered a clickable prototype, incorporating improved navigation and visual hierarchy. I made conscious design choices to evoke trust and comfort, such as rounded shapes, ample whitespace, and calm colors.

Collaboration & Handoff
I worked closely with the development team to ensure the UI was implemented accurately. This involved regular check-ins, sharing design specs, and clarifying interactions to maintain visual and functional consistency through production.

Outcome / Impact
The final interface presented a polished, warm user experience that built trust with visitors. Development implementation closely matched the design intent, thanks to effective cross-functional collaboration—all resulting in a seamless user-facing UI aligned with the client’s brand values.
